Praxis Studios: Dreams and Possibilities
Have I written about the Praxis Studios Project I've been participating in? It is a collaborative interactive video project which utilizes web-based technology to produce a feature film. (I've since learned that the project is being filmed in 16mm which makes it even more of a hybrid affair.)
I've been uploading video for their project since last fall and took some time in Madrid to conduct a few video interviews. It was great fun. During the past few days I've been laying low with this bronchial thing so its been a good time to reteach myself iMovie in order to create a trailer for their project. The Praxis website, linked above, contains links to several trailers that have been produced for this project.

I am so glad you like it! Its always hard when you are learning to use new tools... to tell if something is truly good or just an example of of lessons learned.
I think I'd get dizzy, if I watched a full length feature like that.
Hey, Ren.
The feature film will be very different - shot in 16mm. The trailers for the film evoke a kind of dream state the combines many of the faces and voices of the participants in the project.
I consider MY trailer to be my first foray into MTV-like editing but most of all I love the collaborative/interactive nature of the process and media.
amio - you are so super talented i love it! go crazy with those video effects!

Thank you for taking the time to look! I had fun putting this together and hope to create a series of "dream" pieces that conjure the experience of travel. We'll see.
