I've been on a quest... trying to finish new work for a show at 1708 as well as some new small work to take to Miami. I would like to show the work on the left at 1708 but I think it might exceed the size limitations.
All four works are around 20" x 20", acrylic and flashe on linen.
I sold the one on the end over the past month so it might be the right time to show the others. This series was created around Palm Sunday of 2006 while working on a residency at the Cite Internationale des Arts.

Oh, not so busy... but trying to post things before I lose them. Things tend to go haywire this time of year...
That is incredible work.
I found 2 Virginia art blogs you might like.

Thanks for the links, R.E. I see you are either a real night owl or an early riser. I woke up from a bad dream at 4am and couldn't go back to sleep. I was reading the NYT online and bing! An email arrived in my mailbox and it was you! I was up that late the night prior working in the studio.
Would your busy-ness be the reason why you haven't blogged for aaaaaaaaages?
I have at my blog a post about the Frieda Kahlo exhibit in Mpls.
R.E. -
I love Frieda and will look forward to reading the post when I am home...
P.B.C. - I headed to Miami Beach for Art Basel tomorrow and I have been slammed preparing for my time away from the studio, et al... but I am always touched when anyone other than my husband or cats notices my absence... so I hope when I return in a few days I'll have a few compelling images and stories to post.
